Tenute dei Ciclopi is the only Etna winery that has a tasting room in the center of Catania, a way to enjoy the same experience you would have at a winery on Mount Etna, right in the hearth of Catania.
Savor the authenticity of Sicilian wines as you wander through ancient streets, while being carried away by the legends of the Cyclops and the epic journey of Ulysses along these shores. An experience that blends flavors, history, and myth in the heart of Sicily.
Let your sommelier guide you through a selection of four DOC wines from the winery: Etna Bianco, Etna Rosato, and two vintages of Etna Rosso.
Enjoy a board of typical Sicilian products, including cheeses, cold cuts, bread, and local extra virgin olive oil, while you sip your wines.

Great experience and great wines!
A wonderful wine tasting experience in a beautiful location. I visited with my colleagues and we were immediately impressed by the elegant setting, which perfectly combines Sicilian charm with a modern and refined atmosphere.
The wines were excellent, and the tasting was enhanced by delicious local food pairings. The host was knowledgeable and passionate, sharing interesting insights about Etna wines and the unique volcanic terroir. The combination of great wines and warm hospitality made this one of the highlights of our time in Catania. Highly recommended!

I had a fantastic time at this wine tasting and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Catania. As an Irish traveler exploring Sicily, I was hoping to experience some local wines and learn a bit more about the region, and this was the perfect way to do it.

Fine wines in a dreamy landscape
I read some reviews about this winery over the years, so as soon as I found myself there, being in Catania for the first time I didn't want to miss the chance.
I tasted very good white and rosé Etnas (2023 and 2024 respectively), then I tried a 2021 "Feudo di Mezzo Red" and that definitely made the trick for me, I'll be back for certain in the beautiful winery in the center of the city when I'm back in Catania (which, by the way, is stunning)
Hope I can vist the vineyards over the mountain too when I get the chance.
Overall certainly recommended
Take some time to visit Catania beforehand, it's quite a beautiful city, and the tasting room is in the center, in a quite characteristic neiborhood. Also the food was fantastic

I am a huge wine enthusiast and I can say without a doubt that the tasting at Tenute dei Ciclopi in Catania was one of the most wonderful I've ever done.
As soon as I entered, I immediately felt welcomed into an elegant and very well-kept environment, but at the same time warm and relaxed. It was an experience that moved me, because behind every wine I perceived a story, an authentic passion, and a deep connection with the Etna territory.
The wines were a real discovery: wonderful aromas, great elegance, and a minerality that makes them truly unique. I also really appreciated the professionalism and helpfulness of the person who guided us through the tasting, describing each label with expertise and great enthusiasm.
