Here is what's in store for you
A cultural walking tour exploring gastronomy, wine, and the history of Verona!
This tour gives a unique experience to explore the lifestyle of the locals, together with the city’s history and traditions. This Verona food and wine tour offers you a sensory stroll of gastronomic treasures, including old eateries, historic Veronese wine bars, and even an ancient restaurant – once owned by the real-life family of the city’s most famous tragedy (any guesses?). You will visit a true pasta shop, whose owner still closes the “tortelli” by hand. Your local food guide and wine expert will lead you through the city’s monuments and narrow historic streets, all tasting typical Veronese dishes: from classic cheeses and cold cuts to fresh bigoli pasta, or another traditional main course like amarone risotto, gnocchi, tortelli (dishes are seasonal). Enjoy all these gourmet delights paired with the DOC wines from Soave, Lake Garda and the glorious Valpolicella. This walking tour provides so many tastings that it can serve as your lunch!
During the walk, you will also make a stop for a wine tasting session. You will taste at least 3 different DOC wines including Amarone, which is considered the king of Italian wines. All the wines will be paired with local delicious snacks. Soft drinks are offered for children. Additionally, you will get a skip-the-line ticket for the cable car to enjoy the most romantic view of Verona.
