Valpolicella Wine Tasting & Light Lunch at Marchi Winery

This wine tasting experience at Marchi Winery in Valpolicella takes place in Tregnago, north-east of Verona, and introduces you to the estate’s wines through a guided winery visit and tasting. The experience begins with a tour of the cellar, descending two floors underground to see the barrel room, vinification area, and bottle vault, before returning to the renovated wine shop overlooking the valley.

You will then enjoy a guided tasting of 6 wines from Marchi’s production in the tasting room: Spumante Rosé Brut, Lessini Durello Riserva Metodo Classico, Valpolicella, Valpolicella Superiore, Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore and Amarone della Valpolicella. Marchi’s range includes classic Valpolicella reds, Lessini Durello, Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, and extra virgin olive oil, all connected to the estate’s position between Valpolicella and the Lessini Mountains.

The tasting is paired with a light lunch-style platter of local cured meats and cheeses. Vegetarian menù or specific intolerances can me mentioned in the notes while booking. The experience also includes a tasting of the winery’s extra virgin olive oil, made from olive tree as at least 200 years old.
