De Quarto Winery invites you to discover the authentic flavors of Salento with a guided wine tasting experience paired with typical local products. Located in the heart of the Primitivo di Manduria region, this family-run winery offers a genuine approach to organic and natural winemaking.

The experience begins with an introduction to the winery’s philosophy and production methods, followed by a tasting of 4 wines, held inside the charming De Quarto wine shop. You’ll be able to choose from a variety of labels: Folium (white), Corallium (rosé), Lutum (Primitivo red), and Bellicum (Negroamaro red), plus one macerated wine of your choice: Intenso (white), Dionysos (Primitivo), or Tarantula (Negroamaro).

Each wine will be thoughtfully paired with a local delicacy, such as cheese or cured meats. The entire production is organic and natural, in full respect of the territory’s traditions and biodiversity.

The tasting will be led by a member of the De Quarto family, who will share insights into their grape varieties, the history of the vineyards, and their dedication to sustainable winemaking.

Roberta de Cuarto, die Tochter des Hauses, spricht ein gutes Englisch und führt durch die Weinprobe und gibt uns einen sehr interessanten Überblick über die verschiedenen Reben und Bezeichnungen der Weine des Salento und Manduria. Es waren 4 natürliche Weine, die uns begeistert haben bis auf den Weißwein. Wir werden den Dionysos, Taranatula und Bellicum beim Weingut bestellen für zuhause. Auch Ihr Restaurant Tip im Dorf war sehr gut, Roberta hat uns einen sehr guten Einblick in Weine der Region vermittelt. Die lokalen dzu gerechten Leckereien waren sehr lecker. Tausend Dank nochmal an Roberta!
