The Ars Vinifera experience at De Quarto Winery offers an immersive journey into the world of Salento’s natural and organic wines. Located near Manduria, the winery invites you to explore its artisanal production philosophy and discover the origins of its authentic wines.
Your experience begins with a warm welcome and an introduction to the De Quarto family winery and its traditional winemaking methods. You’ll then enjoy a tasting of 5 representative wines, served in the atmospheric wine shop. The first 3 wines can be selected from Folium (white), Corallium (rosé), Lutum (Primitivo red), or Bellicum (Negroamaro red). The final 2 wines focus on long macerations, including Intenso (skin-contact white), Dionysos (Primitivo), or Tarantula (Negroamaro).
Each wine is thoughtfully paired with local delicacies, such as cheese or cured meats. The wines are all certified organic and natural, reflecting De Quarto’s commitment to sustainable, terroir-driven winemaking.
After the tasting, you may join a guided vineyard tour in Lizzano, approximately 10 km away. If your group includes 4 or more people, a De Quarto family member will accompany you; otherwise, you'll follow them in your own vehicle. The vineyard visit lasts about 45 minutes, including travel time, and dives into local grape varieties, the history of the estate, and natural winemaking techniques.

Children and young people up to 18 years old will not be served alcohol, so please provide what is needed for them, since the tasting is held in a wine shop and we will only be able to serve them water.On summer mornings, it is recommended to choose the earliest available time to avoid the heat in the vineyard.
