Discover the authentic charm of Tenuta Santoro in Ostuni, in the heart of the Valle d’Itria, with a unique wine experience combining tradition, landscape, and local flavors.

Your experience begins with a Vineyard and winery visit, including a walk through the vineyards where you will explore both newly planted vines and rare century-old vines, while enjoying panoramic views of the Valle d’Itria.

You will then visit the historic underground cellar, excavated over five generations to naturally preserve the wines at optimal temperatures.

The experience continues in one of the estate’s traditional trulli, ancient stone dwellings where four generations of the family once lived, creating a truly authentic and atmospheric setting for the tasting.

Here, you will enjoy a guided tasting of 3 wines, all made from native grape varieties of the Valle d’Itria:

We Almost Cried – It Was That Good
What an absolutely unforgettable wine tasting experience! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the rich history of the vineyard – it was fascinating and beautifully told.
The owner was super professional yet so fun and down-to-earth. He made us feel completely at home and shared his passion in the most genuine way.
The local food and vegetables were outstanding and perfectly paired with the most amazing wines. Every bite and every sip was pure harmony. It was so good I almost cried – honestly one of the most moving culinary experiences we’ve ever had.
We are so thankful for this magical afternoon. Highly recommend to anyone who wants more than just a tasting – this is something truly special.

Ciao Karl. Mi ricordo benissimo. Facevo fatica a spiegare il vino e il cibo perché continuavi a dirmi che era talmente buono che mi stavo commovendo io al posto tuo. E stato uno dei miei momenti più sodisfacendo della stagione. Una coppia di ospiti meravigliosi che mi avete fatto sentire apprezzato per non dire completato nel mio lavoro o meglio passione di fare vino e di trasmettere le nostre tradizioni semplici del territorio (incluso cibo). A brief wine tour rolled into a few more and a lovely evening - top whites, roses, very friendly host. Highly recommend the wine tour then sticking around for a few more drinks for a great evening and a holiday highlight

Lovely experience
We had a wonderful time touring the vineyard with Marco. He was very friendly and spoke multiple languages; English quite well!! He was humble and knowledgeable. Their wines were fantastic and not too sweet which we loved. His wife prepares the food and the pairings were exceptional. Her focaccia with caramelized onions was out of this world-I’d actually love some right now!! Would definitely return and recommend to others. This was not your typical vineyard as their wines are organic, hand picked grapes with an at home feel.
Their white wine was a delight so we purchased a case!!
