Your visit to Palazzo Montanari begins with a walk through the vineyards of the historic brolo surrounding the Venetian villa. A member of the Palazzo Montanari team, and sometimes a member of the family, will be your guide.
They will lead you through the villa's beautifully frescoed rooms, sharing the history of the estate and the winemaking traditions of Valpolicella. The decorations inside reflect different eras, from ancient warrior themes to scenes of 18th-century rural life. The tour concludes on the panoramic terrace, with views over the surrounding hills.
Here, you will taste a glass of the estate's red Valpolicella DOC Classico, paired with bread, breadsticks, and taralli. Before the tasting, your guide will introduce Palazzo Montanari's full range of wines, including Ripasso, Amarone, and Recioto, before focusing on the Valpolicella you are about to enjoy.
