Castel di Salve awaits you in the heart of Salento for this wine-tasting experience.

With this experience, you will have the opportunity to visit the historic Castel di Salve winery in Depressa, a monument of 19th-century industrial architecture, walking through the different production rooms and the vineyard behind.

The guided visit is followed by a guided tasting of at least four of the winery's bottled wines, accompanied by taralli.

At the end of the experience, there will be the possibility of purchasing your favorite wines from Castel di Salve at winery prices.

Informative, persönliche Führung durch das Weingut mit Verkostung

Wir hatten eine sehr informative, spannende und vor allem auch persönliche Führung im Castel di Salve auf Englisch und dank den Sprachkentnissen des Besitzers auch teilweise auf Deutsch. Auch die Weinverkostung hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Wir haben dabei noch einmal viel über die verschiedenen Traubensorten und Weine gelernt. Zum Schluss haben wir sogar noch einen Süsswein mit Panettone als Überraschung erhalten. Sehr leckere Weine!
Auf jeden Fall ein empfehlenswertes Erlebnis!

We had a wonderful time touring the winery. The tour was interesting and the owner added a lot of entertaining anecdotes that really made for a fun experience. We had the chance to try five different wines during the tasting. All of them were great but I really liked their Primitivo and Lama del Tenente the best.
Don't forget to bring home several bottles of their Lama del Tenente reserve. One of the best reds I tried while in Puglia.

Super wine tour and tasting experience at Castel Di Salve! Beautiful wines and a beautiful family business! Thoroughly enjoyed our educational & fun filled conversations with the owner Francesco, and his son Riccardo! We certainly have a new found appreciation for the Salento grape varieties that we will search out back in Canada!

A very relaxed tour, thoughtful, very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. The wine quality was excellent and tasting room was very comfortable. You are touring their production space, in their original 5th generation facility, located within the village, with some small area for vines. If you’re looking for a winery with vast expanse of vines and rolling hills this isn’t it.

This family owned winery is an absolute must visit. Our guide Riccardo was knowledgable and passionate about the history and wine making process at his family's business (5th generation).
The buildings are beautiful and the wines are wonderful.
