Wine tasting experience in Marsala at Alagna Vini
Here is what's in store for you
Alagna Vini is pleased to welcome guests to its historic winery in Sicily for a guided visit and tasting of local wines paired with traditional food. This experience offers a unique opportunity to discover how Sicilian wines—and especially Marsala—are produced, while exploring the rich heritage of a winery with over 75 years of winemaking tradition.
A representative of the winery will introduce the origins of the estate and explain the historical significance of Marsala wine. Guests will be guided through the different production areas and are welcome to ask questions or satisfy any curiosity about Sicilian wine production.
The tour concludes in the comfortable tasting room, where participants will enjoy a generous buffet of local specialties, including almond cakes, cheeses, fresh bread, and more. The wines of Alagna Vini, which include twelve different labels, will be introduced prior to the tasting. Guests will then be invited to sample a selection of Sicilian wines served in small traditional glasses.
The full experience lasts approximately 45 minutes and includes a guided tour of the winery and barrel room, an introduction to Marsala aging in large wooden casks, and the tasting of around seven wines paired with traditional sweet and savory Sicilian snacks.
Alagna Vini welcomes both individual visitors and groups, offering tastings in English or Italian, during the week or on weekends, with flexibility to suit different preferences and requirements.
