I'm Riccardo the owner of Tenuta Moriano, owned by the Panconesi family since 1990. Montespertoli is the place where I was born and raised.
Tenuta Moriano is part of an ancient territory, Chianti, dedicated to the agricultural tradition and culture of its wines. Tenuta Moriano is like an agricultural world that is able to combine modern society with the original cultivation practice, which translates into the creation of unique and refined wines.
The estate is a Tuscan story with a great past, based on values, traditions, passion and the constant search for excellence to create unique and authentic wines, the expression of our Tuscany.

Very nicely situated winery with delicious wines
On 29.10.26 we were at Tenuta Moriano for a wine tasting.
It is located on the Moriano hill and offers a fantastic view of Tuscany.
First, Natalia showed us the wine cellar with the tanks and, in the back section, large and smaller oak barrels.
The entire grape harvest is done by hand and, depending on the grape, different processing methods result.
The delicious results can be enjoyed during the wine tasting. There is the option to try a selection of white, rosé and red wines, or just red wines – as you prefer.
In addition, there was a typically Tuscan cheese, sausage and ham platter and plenty of time to enjoy.
If you like cherry, you should definitely try the liqueur that is served for dessert.

A magical place in the heart of Chianti
Delightful place.
Right away at reception, welcomed with a great sense of family, where we were immediately offered a welcome rosé.
The cellar, very simple, is well-kept and well-maintained and our guide was very good at narrating the life of the wine at that company.
The tasting with 5 types of wine was excellent.
