Provides 1 wine tasting and winery visit from €25.00
Tenuta di Mensanello, a 19th-century property, extends for about 300 hectares on the slopes that run through the heart of the Chianti Senese. It is a beautiful land where agriculture blends with the landscape and this blends with history. Ada and Alessandro began working for this agricultural business as “factor” and “factoress” in the 1920s, purchasing the entire property in the 1950s. Today, Neri, their grandson, together with Annarita and Flora, manage the estate, accompanied by young collaborators and also by historic members of the great Mensanello team. This agricultural company focuses on multifunctionality and the fortunate combination of innovation and tradition. Here, the range is from the cultivation of vines and the transformation of grapes into wine, to the care of the olive trees and the pressing of olives at the company's oil mill. The arable land is cultivated extensively, with the presence of autumn-winter cereals (wheat, spelt, barley), legumes (fava beans), and oilseeds (sunflower). Alfalfa is also cultivated, which is of fundamental importance for improving soil fertility, and a portion of the woods is dedicated to pigs raised in a semi-wild state, in a complex agro-forestry-pastoral system that guarantees animal welfare and meat quality. A recent introduction was the creation of a “nano” brewery on the farm, where beers are produced with local raw materials. Visitors are taught the production philosophy with the peculiarities and knowledge that distinguish it, through tastings, guided tours of the production areas and agro-trekking for the cultivated plots. Telling and sharing our reality for us is the real added value that we offer to those who come on holiday with us. The management paradigm of the Tenuta di Mensanello puts the "land" factor at the center, considering it the most precious asset it has, which must be not only safeguarded but improved over time, adopting agronomic techniques and strategies specific to the era in which we live, with a view to rational, reasoned and real agriculture.

Borgo Santinovo is a small farm sorrounded by the hills in the Chianti Colli Senesi region. The long cipress driveway, sorrounded by vineyards and olive groves, make it a magical location. Since the Middle Ages, its strategic position dominating the Elsa valley and its closeness to the Via Francigena made Borgo Santinovo a highly coveted place. Since 1989, it belongs to the Taddei family who completely regenerated it thanks to an accurate restoration. In addition to the apartments in the agriturismo, which can boast six centuries of rural and military history, the farm is dedicated to the production of fine wines and to a small production of olive oil.

Il Palagione is a historic farmstead nestled in the heart of Tuscany, dating back to 1594. Located along the picturesque road that connects San Gimignano to Volterra, the estate preserves the charm of traditional rural architecture and holds significant historical value. Originally a working farm for local families, the property was revitalized in 1995 when it was purchased by new owners, driven by the dream of restoring its agricultural heritage. The estate was carefully renovated, vineyards were replanted, and by 2001, a modern cellar was built to process grapes with care and precision. An underground barrel room was also added for the ideal aging of wines in oak barrels. Today, Il Palagione spans 50 hectares, with 20 hectares dedicated to specialized vineyards, alongside olive groves, walnut trees, and arable land. Visitors to the estate can experience not only its rich history but also the stunning landscape and commitment to sustainable agriculture.
