Azienda Rigoli is located in the picturesque Cornia Valley, nestled between Bolgheri and the Tuscan Ore Mountains (Colline Metallifere) in the Alta Maremma region. In 1984, when Rita and Virgilio decided to buy what was going to become Tua Rita, those lands and buildings were just to be the frame of a place where they could live in contact with nature, cultivating their own land. But their passion for wine definitely changed things. From the original 2 hectares of vineyards, cultivated from the beginning with the utmost rigor, in the course of ten years the hectares became 9, then 20, at the beginning of the new millennium, to reach the current 30 hectares of vineyards. Nevertheless, the image and marketing management of Tua Rita could not develop without the work of Stefano Frascolla, husband of Simena, daughter of the owners, who was also involved in the business management after Virgilio's death, in 2010. The name of the company is due to a simple inversion between the first and last names of Rita Tua.
