Provides 2 wine tastings and winery visit from €40.00
Azienda Agricola Innocenzo Turco has its roots in a deep love for wine that began in childhood, fostered in the cellar—a place of mystery and wonder where everything seemed to happen. This passion has grown and solidified over time, driving a commitment to wine production that is shared by the entire family and dedicated collaborators. Every bottle is meticulously handled, from filling and corking to cleaning, labeling, encapsulating, and packing, all done with the utmost care and dedication. The winery's life revolves around the production of its wines throughout the year, with La Granaccia as the crowning jewel. The cellar, dating back to 1898, retains its original charm with cozy dimensions, vaulted niches, and a labyrinthine structure. In 2006, the cellar was renewed, combining modern equipment with traditional practices, creating a workspace where the pace is measured and deliberate, much like the careful process of winemaking itself. The winery is a place where the rhythm of the seasons dictates the pace of work, and everything is done with a deep respect for tradition and a commitment to quality. The structure itself, with its cool, refreshing climate in the summer and crisp, piercing air in the winter, serves as a reminder of the enduring connection between the land, the wine, and those who dedicate their lives to its production.

Viarzo
(Winery in Savona)

Provides 1 wine tasting and winery visit from €40.00
Viarzo Winery is the passion project of Elena Tavella and Giuseppe Parenti, a couple who turned their love for the land into a winemaking journey. Situated in Quiliano, Savona, the winery revives vineyards that have a long history, dating back to the 1700s, when Granaccia was first cultivated in Liguria. Starting with an abandoned vineyard near their home, Elena and Giuseppe restored the land, expanding their work to a second plot in Roviasca. Their dedication is evident in the careful restoration of ancient terraced strips and dry stone walls.

Deperi Tenuta Colombera

Provides 1 wine tasting and winery visit from €55.00
The Deperi family has cultivated a passion for grapevine and olive trees since the beginning of the 19th century. Thanks to Clemente Deperi and his daily sacrifice to take care of the land, his sons have developed a deep feeling of local identity with a strong link to the history and culture of the territory. The desire to realize the ancestors dream begins to take shape in 2004 with the enthusiasm of Paolo who decides, supported by his father PierLuigi and his uncle Mauro, to build a modern cellar in Ranzo, constantly renovating. The first bottle of Pigato wine was produced in 2008. The Deperi Winery develops today on 4 important estates: Tenuta Colombera in Albenga (vineyard of Vermentino and Granaccia, Wine house for tasting and restaurant), Tenuta Arveglio (vineyard of Pigato and Vermentino), Castle of the Clavesana Marquises in Rezzo (vineyard of Ormeasco), cellar and vineyard in Ranzo (production of Pigato).

Bruna Winery
(Winery in Savona)

Bruna winery was born out of my father Riccardo’s insight and passion. He is the most typical of Ligurian hinterland men: strict and stubborn, shy at times, and although he thinks of himself as a conservative, I know that he is a revolutionist at heart. In the early seventies, he produced and bottled Pigato wine from the family’s historic vineyards in Ranzo. He was the first in town to do it and he made a decision on his future which was quite uncommon back in those days in Liguria. My maternal grandfather supported him from the very start and planted new vineyards in Ortovero. His name was Virginio Capello, he was a farmer blessed with a sophisticated and modern-oriented mind, he was a visionary. He even thought of opening an ice-cream parlor in Constantinople in the twenties! He has always believed in the Pigato variety. I remember him with great affection, as an old, skinny man, seated on the doorsteps while peering at the pergola vineyards planted all around, as if they were holding him in their embrace. My father, whom we all affectionately called U Baccan, the local dialect word for “boss”, worked hard over the years to expand the family-owned vineyards, paying great attention to both the best-positioned winegrowing soil and the production of wines reflecting his personality and the grape variety’s typicality. He was a great innovator in those years….

Azienda Vinicola Durin
(Winery in Savona)

Durin Winery has deep roots in the Ligurian tradition, tracing its origins back to the late 19th century when Isidoro Basso first began cultivating a small plot of land in the Arroscia Valley. Known locally as "Isidurin" (little Isidoro), he planted the seeds of what would become a thriving family business in the picturesque municipality of Ortovero. His legacy was carried on by his son, Angelo, who planted the first vines in the 1920s after his military service. Angelo's dedication to building up the family business spanned nearly a century, and today, his son Antonio represents the third generation of Basso winegrowers. Our vineyards, spread across 16.5 hectares in five municipalities—Ortovero, Ranzo, Onzo, Garlenda, and Rialto—embody the spirit of Ligurian viticulture. They capture the essence of the region with their dramatic landscapes and breathtaking views. Despite the steep and challenging terrain that defines much of Liguria, including the Arroscia Valley, we continue to cultivate our vineyards with passion and dedication, preserving the heritage of our land and the family legacy.
