Tenuta Casadei is a unique winery born in 1998, on the cusp of the new millennium, with an international vision that reflects the diversity of its vines and the collaboration between two passionate families—the Casadei family from Italy and the Cline family, renowned wine entrepreneurs from California’s Sonoma Valley. The partnership began serendipitously, during a dinner where Stefano Casadei and Fred Cline discovered their shared passion for winemaking, love for the land, respect for the environment, and an unwavering commitment to quality. This global yet unified approach to winemaking has become the cornerstone of Tenuta Casadei's philosophy: "We are citizens of the world, but we speak a single language: that of Wine. Good." In 1984, when Rita and Virgilio decided to buy what was going to become Tua Rita, those lands and buildings were just to be the frame of a place where they could live in contact with nature, cultivating their own land. But their passion for wine definitely changed things. From the original 2 hectares of vineyards, cultivated from the beginning with the utmost rigor, in the course of ten years the hectares became 9, then 20, at the beginning of the new millennium, to reach the current 30 hectares of vineyards. Nevertheless, the image and marketing management of Tua Rita could not develop without the work of Stefano Frascolla, husband of Simena, daughter of the owners, who was also involved in the business management after Virgilio's death, in 2010. The name of the company is due to a simple inversion between the first and last names of Rita Tua.

Close to the ancient village of Suvereto, on the ferrous hills of the Val di Cornia where you can see as far as the Tyrrhenian Sea, the magic of Petra is continuously caressed by winds that revive vine-growing and oenological memories dating back to the Greeks and the Etruscans. Something so modern and functional is, at the same time, a deep-rooted tradition that loses itself among the lines of a story. It is the underlying strata – of the earth, of men, of their uninterrupted tale – that Petra reveals. With its verticality it penetrates the secret that lies beneath, going beyond it, crossing it, understanding it, and making it its own. The modern company, shiny and functional, becomes the land, leaving itself in its hands and in letting itself go elevates and revitalises it, a Paradise Lost revived, an allusion and a reference to something deeper than the land itself.

Siamo a 2 km da Suvereto, in Val di Cornia, il borgo medioevale più a nord della Maremma, al confine con l’area di Bolgheri, affacciati sul mare che ha in fronte l’isola d’Elba. Attualmente La Bulichella (42 Ha in totale) comprende 17 Ha di vigneti 10 Ha di oliveti , un laghetto , un orto con frutteto, una parte dedicata all’agriturismo e una piccola parte boschiva. La vera svolta verso un Bio di qualità e di identità avviene alla metà degli anni ‘90 ,quando il sig Miyakawa e la moglie Marisa , decidono di investire nella produzione che più caratterizzava e caratterizza Suvereto e tutta la Val di Cornia, “il Vino”. Nel Progetto viene coinvolta la Famiglia Bonaguidi, famiglia della zona, che conosce questi terreni e questo microclima speciale. Il lavoro di tutti i giorni e l’attenzione ai particolari sono alla base del nostro progetto. Nel 1997 viene realizzata la nuova cantina , che negli anni si è evoluta e ad oggi vanta tecnologie all’avanguardia, ma la vera rivoluzione è stata in vigna. Sono stati piantati nuovi vigneti e dopo alcuni anni di sperimentazione, sono stati scelti i vitigni che oggi caratterizzano la nostra produzione. Poca quantità e selezione delle uve per esaltare e concentrare la qualità delle nostre viti, molto lavoro in vigna per interpretare anno per anno le esigenze e le peculiarità che andranno a caratterizzare il millesimo di produzione.

Un particolare territorio, quello di “Calzalunga” (o Casale Longo come veniva chiamato nell’antichità) a Suvereto, con piccole superfici destinate a dar luogo a grandi prodotti… un tuffo nella storia, dove già Elisa Bonaparte, sorella di Napoleone, scelse questi luoghi per realizzare la propria residenza estiva e poter bere “del vin buono di Casal Longo“, come riportano vecchi testi dell’epoca… un’agricoltura fatta di manualità, non invasiva, dove la maggior parte delle operazioni vengono svolte a mano. Questi sono gli ingredienti che Flavio Rabitti ha voluto miscelare per dar luogo ad una piccola realtà produttiva nel cuore della Toscana. «Nella mia azienda, a poche decine di Km da Bolgheri e Castagneto Carducci, mi dedico principalmente alla produzione di Vino (Rosso e Bianco I.G.T. Toscano e D.O.C.G. Suvereto) ed Olio Extravergine di Oliva I.G.P. Toscano – di qualità superiore. Inoltre, nei terreni boschivi ubicati in altre parti della toscana ed annessi alla proprietà aziendale, crescono naturalmente i profumati e pregiati TARTUFI bianchi e neri che rinvengo personalmente con l’ausilio dei miei fedeli amici a quattro zampe e commercializzo per il piacere dei miei affezionati clienti.»

The Incontri winery is located in Fossoni in Suvereto. Each year, around 20,000 bottles of wine are produced from the estate's grapes alone. All the production processes fully respect the environment and everything relating to it. They have a zero carbon footprint and follow the Lunar and Planetary cycles. They are certified organic, vegan wines with no added sulfites. PHILOSOPHY The principles of the Earth Charter are at the heart of each activity carried out on the estate. The principles of permaculture are used in planning and general management work. As far as cultivation is concerned, the biodynamic and organic agriculture method is used. La cantina Incontri è situata in località Fossoni a Suvereto. Ogni anno vengono prodotte dalle sole uve di proprietà dell'azienda circa 20.000 bottiglie di vino. Tutti i processi di lavorazione rispettano totalmente l'ambiente e tutto ciò che ne fa parte, sono a zero impronta carbonica e seguono i calendari lunare e planetario. I vini sono certificati biologici, vegani e senza solfiti aggiunti. FILOSOFIA I principi della Carta della Terra sono alla base di ogni attività svolta all'interno dell'azienda. Per la progettazione e gestione generale dell'attività vengono applicati i principi della permacultura. Per quanto riguarda invece le coltivazioni è utilizzato il metodo della biodinamica e dell'agricoltura biologica.
