3 A rather rush experience, leaving you with a full stomach at least (Giovanni)It was a second vineyard I visited at Vesuvio, and it was pretty average. The wine tour was a rush, not much detail was given unless we asked (pretty much this is the vineyard, this is the cellar and this is the machine that sticks the labels). There's hardly any explanations of the wines presented for tasting, other than the information on the bottles. Hardly further interaction on the feedback on the wines, or the food. The vineyard only produces 5 wines, only one is very good (the reserva), the others are OK, nothing unique to my taste. What impressed me most is the wine vinegar they produce, almost like Modena of the south, but again, it's only on asking that more information is produced. If you like a quick experience, this vineyard might be for you, But if you'd like to learn more about the wines, the wine-making process, the stories behind and more attentive culinary experiences, you might like to try another vineyard in the region.
