2 Disappointing (Nicola)On arrival there was no signage to tell us where to go. We had to ask someone who pointed us in the direction of the restaurant. We were shown to a table without asking for booking details and asked to pick our food. I asked about the tour & was told it was after our meal. The young lady said they would pair the wine to our food choices but although my husband and I chose different meals, we were given the same wines. They tasted okay, but nothing special. The food though was very tasty and really what you are paying for. The tour, was really disappointing. The owner, who doesn’t speak much English, said it was “too much” (meaning too hot) to go in to the vineyard, so we didn’t get to go & the tour of the winery was her talking in broken English with hand gestures and a couple of scribbled drawings on a piece of paper. I was really looking forward to this experience, but after paying over £100 for the experience and 50 euros in taxi I’m left feeling very disappointed. Just before we left we were asked to pay & had to show my booking reference to prove we had paid online.

5 A lovely way to spend a summer afternoon (Tony)We really enjoyed our experience at Cantina Lodi Corazza. There were just four of us and Silvia was a superb host who explained the history of the winery, and showed us the vines and the production processes. Although she claimed that her English wasn't very good, in fact she spoke really clearly and was happy to explain anything we didn't understand. The tasting was amazing. We sampled four different wines, each one accompanied by local artisan produce such as Mortadella and Parmigiano Reggianno, as well as fresh bread. Silvia even brought out some gluten free biscuits especially for me, as I am Coeliac. There was way more food than we could possibly eat. The winery is conveniently located, just a 5 minute walk from Ponte Ronca train station. We travelled there from Bologna Centrale in about half an hour. Silvia seemed happy to stay chatting to us even though it was past our alloted time. It was honestly a lovely afternoon.

5 Intimate Wine Tour (Anthony)We took this wine tour as a side trip during our stay in Bologna. When we arrived, we had a private tour! Silvia was wonderful explaining about the vineyard, the history, their wines and the food that was paired with the wines. The vineyard is small and that provided an intimate experience that we really enjoyed. We were disappointed that we couldn't ship wine home and had to settle for buying bottles to take with us.

5 Amazing Experience (Leo)We had a wonderful experience with Silvia at the vineyard. She was so passionate and knowledgeable and to find out the business has been handed down generations was amazing. The wines were fantastic and the pairings excellent. We would go back but perhaps in the summer where it’s a bit warmer and get to see the grapes on the vines!

5 ENJOYED THE PRIVATE TOUR - GREAT EXPERIENCE. (Michael)Silvia and Cesare (Owners) gave us multiple different types of wine to taste (2 whites and 2 reds and 1 dessert wine). The owners provided a very nice sample of local foods to taste with the wine, it was an awesome experience. The owners spent significant amount of time with us explaining their challenges and opportunities with the future of the wine business. To finish, Cesare gave us a ride to place where we could catch the bus back to Bologna as the Cantina Lodi Corazza is in the country side.

5 OUTSTANDING FAMILY WINERY EXPERIENCE (RAJENDRA)OUR TOUR OF THE WINERY WITH SILVIA CORAZZA LASTED NEARLY THREE HOURS. SILVIA EXPLAINED EVERYTHING FROM THE TERROIR OF COLLI BOLLOGNESI, THE GRAPE VARIETIALS PIGNOLETTO, LAMBRUSCO, BARBERA AMONGST OTHERS. THE WINE TASTING SESSION AT THE END OF OUR TOUR TOO WAS EXCLUSIVE AS WE WERE THE ONLY VISITORS THAT SATURDAY MORNING. SILVIA'S SINCERITY AND INTEGRITY IN MANAGING THE WINERY WITH HER BROTHER CESARE SHINES THROUGH. SHE EXPLAINED THE CHALLENGES OF MANAGING AN INDEPENDENT FAMILY OWNED WINERY IN THIS AGE OF INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION OF CHEAP WINE. SILVIA DID HER VERY BEST TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING IN ENGLISH. WE WISH TO CONVEY OUR DEEPEST APPRECIATION AND GRATITUDE TO SILVIA FOR OUR BEST WINE TASTING EXPERIENCE OF DATE.

5 Wine and food tasting (Lesley)We had a wonderful time for my husband's birthday. Neither of us had ever been to a vineyard or wine tasting before and it was better than we could have expected! The owner was lovely and obviously very knowledgable. After a look around the vineyard and winery we sat in a beautiful room and the lady poured us a variety of different wines paired with regional food. It was genuinely incredible! The lady gave us so much interesting information and we really felt like we learned a lot. Thank for you an amazing afternoon, it's one we'll never forget!

5 Serene Italian winery tour!! (Serina)This place was so nice!! Very quiet small town outside of Bologna. The lady was so nice, gave us a tour of everything before. After, we sat down where they provided bread and meat. Then the wine came out!! Definitely recommend

5 Wine tour and tasting in Cantina Lodi Corazza in Colli Bolognesi (Marianne)We had an excellent wine tour and tasting. Silvia was very good at explaining about the various types of grapes, how the different wines were made, The wine tasting was also excellent. The wines were very different but all of them very good. Silvia was very good at explaining the difference. We also got some Italian specialities to eat together with the wine. The food was also very good. We can recommend it.

5 Absolutely amazing experience! (Dunja)My partner and I visited Manaresi wine estate at the end of April. It was the most amazing experience! A short train or bus ride and a 20-minute walk from Bologna. The estate looked stunning and the views were incredible. Most importantly, Fernanda gave us a truly exceptional tour of the whole estate and shared much information on the wines and the way of life at the winery. She was the best tour guide! We had our wine tasting at the terrace, in the sun, surrounded by wisteria and overlooking the hills of Bologna. We tasted four wines and all of them were equally incredible. 10/10 would recommend and will be returning!

5 Lightness, tradition, art (Rita)Recommended experience. A walk in the vineyards with a stunning view of the Po Valley and Bologna. We were lucky: Thursday afternoon the weather was fantastic, incredible sun and colors, immersed in greenery. Visit to the winery with Mrs. Letizia, who passionately explained all the steps, from harvesting to bottling. We concluded the visit with an excellent dinner in a well-kept environment and tasted delicious and abundant dishes, accompanied by the wines. Needless to say, the strong point is the prosecco! We plan to return!

5 An experience we absolutely recommend! (Giovanni)Silvia was fantastic in welcoming us and telling us, in a way that was very understandable even for those not in the industry, so many interesting things about the company's history, the values it is founded on, the methods they use, and about the oenological field on a local and global level, guiding and involving us from the cellar tour to the tasting. Excellent wines, food too, generous quantities: we basically had a full lunch. At the end, it's possible to buy the wines you've tried at more than fair prices, especially for the quality offered. But overall it was just a pleasant and enriching experience on a cultural and human level. In short, a small business that deserves to be supported!

5 Simply exceptional (Roberto)Beautiful property. The package included a tour of the winery + dinner with tasting, and that's exactly how it went. A guided tour, detailed and very interesting, of the production winery. An abundant and delicious dinner with a tasting of wines selected by the sommelier, Riccardo, who was very nice, passionate and above all competent. A very pleasant evening that we will surely repeat as soon as possible. Perfect for a couple, but also doable as a group.

5 Good wine, good food and a family atmosphere (Marco)The experience was a gift from our children. A beautiful evening in a professional, but also family-like, very "warm" environment. The tour was very interesting, although, being an evening in November, it wasn't possible to walk through the vineyards, and we stayed in the cellar. The guide told us the story of the Gaggioli family and the company, its product philosophy and the characteristics of the wines, making the tour very pleasant. The subsequent dinner, in the agriturismo's restaurant located next to the winery, completely satisfied us with the quality of the food, the warmth of the atmosphere, and the pleasantness of the service, allowing us to pair each dish with the right wine. Completely satisfied, we also bought a few bottles. We recommend the experience and, as for us, since we are from Bologna, we will come back to the restaurant and we will also come back to buy the wine.

2 Feedback (Katharina)…Hello, Booked an English tour and no English-speaking guide was available. No tour through the wine region. No explanations about the wines during the tasting. They were just put on the table. We had the feeling that there was no great desire to explain anything to us. The food was very good. But because of the other things, unfortunately not recommended.
