ENJOYED THE PRIVATE TOUR - GREAT EXPERIENCE.

Silvia and Cesare (Owners) gave us multiple different types of wine to taste (2 whites and 2 reds and 1 dessert wine). The owners provided a very nice sample of local foods to taste with the wine, it was an awesome experience. The owners spent significant amount of time with us explaining their challenges and opportunities with the future of the wine business. To finish, Cesare gave us a ride to place where we could catch the bus back to Bologna as the Cantina Lodi Corazza is in the country side.
We really enjoyed Cantina Lodi Corazza's sparkling white wine called 'Venti'.

OUR TOUR OF THE WINERY WITH SILVIA CORAZZA LASTED NEARLY THREE HOURS.

SILVIA EXPLAINED EVERYTHING FROM THE TERROIR OF COLLI BOLLOGNESI, THE GRAPE VARIETIALS PIGNOLETTO, LAMBRUSCO, BARBERA AMONGST OTHERS. THE WINE TASTING SESSION AT THE END OF OUR TOUR TOO WAS EXCLUSIVE AS WE WERE THE ONLY VISITORS THAT SATURDAY MORNING.

SILVIA'S SINCERITY AND INTEGRITY IN MANAGING THE WINERY WITH HER BROTHER CESARE SHINES THROUGH. SHE EXPLAINED THE CHALLENGES OF MANAGING AN INDEPENDENT FAMILY OWNED WINERY IN THIS AGE OF INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION OF CHEAP WINE.

SILVIA DID HER VERY BEST TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING IN ENGLISH.

WE WISH TO CONVEY OUR DEEPEST APPRECIATION AND GRATITUDE TO SILVIA FOR OUR BEST WINE TASTING EXPERIENCE OF DATE.

Wine and food tasting

We had a wonderful time for my husband's birthday. Neither of us had ever been to a vineyard or wine tasting before and it was better than we could have expected! The owner was lovely and obviously very knowledgable. After a look around the vineyard and winery we sat in a beautiful room and the lady poured us a variety of different wines paired with regional food. It was genuinely incredible! The lady gave us so much interesting information and we really felt like we learned a lot. Thank for you an amazing afternoon, it's one we'll never forget!

The tour was great - 9 out of 10. The guide was informative she accommodated our time change and everything was delicious. It was quite easy to get to, and probably would be no harm to include that it's 5 mins from the train station. Probably the highlight of my time in Bologna

Serene Italian winery tour!!

This place was so nice!! Very quiet small town outside of Bologna. The lady was so nice, gave us a tour of everything before. After, we sat down where they provided bread and meat. Then the wine came out!! Definitely recommend

We had an excellent wine tour and tasting. Silvia was very good at explaining about the various types of grapes, how the different wines were made, The wine tasting was also excellent. The wines were very different but all of them very good. Silvia was very good at explaining the difference. We also got some Italian specialities to eat together with the wine. The food was also very good.
We can recommend it.

Questa esperienza è stata molto interessante.
La proprietaria è stata molto gentile e disponibile, ci ha fatto vedere tutta la cantina e le viti e ci ha spiegato molte cose interessanti.
Per quanto riguarda il bere e il mangiare, nulla da dire, tutto molto buono.

Lodi Corazza è un'azienda agricola a conduzione familiare con radici che risalgono al 1877. I fratelli Silvia e Cesare Corazza portano avanti la tradizione vinicola della loro famiglia a Zola Predosa, situata nella prestigiosa zona DOC Colli Bolognesi. La loro tenuta riflette un profondo rispetto per la terra e il patrimonio, con vigneti piantati sui caratteristici terreni poveri e rossastri della regione. La cantina, progettata dal padre Corrado, fonde modernità e tradizione, utilizzando un mix di acciaio inossidabile, cemento e contenitori in legno per produrre vini che catturano l'essenza del territorio.

A Lodi Corazza, l'attenzione è rivolta alla produzione di vini che onorano il patrimonio dei Colli Bolognesi. La loro gamma comprende il Pignoletto, sia fermo che frizzante, oltre a Barbera, Barbera Riserva e Merlot. La cantina è orgogliosa di utilizzare il metodo italiano Martinotti per i suoi vini frizzanti, consentendo loro di affinare sui lieviti per un minimo di cinque mesi. Con l'impegno di preservare le caratteristiche uniche dei vitigni autoctoni e internazionali, ogni vino incarna la passione e la cura di generazioni di viticoltori.
