About Winery and Wines
Fabrizio Battaglino carries on the winemaking tradition of his family in Roero, continuing the legacy started by his grandfather Riccardo in the 1960s. With deep respect for his land, Fabrizio, along with his father Mario, cultivates vineyards on the Colla hills in Vezza d'Alba. These hills are known for producing exceptional grapes, as well as offering breathtaking views. The Battaglino family is committed to crafting wines that honor the region’s winemaking history while embracing its potential for the future.
Battaglino’s vineyards are home to Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Arneis grapes, from which they produce a variety of DOC and DOCG wines, including Roero, Roero Arneis, Nebbiolo d'Alba, and Barbera d'Alba. With great care, the family personally manages every aspect of the vineyard’s cycle, ensuring high-quality, handcrafted wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Roero region. Each bottle is a testament to their dedication and craftsmanship, balancing tradition with modern precision.
