Azienda Vinicola Farina
About the Winery
Located in a picturesque courtyard at the foothills of Valpolicella, just outside Verona, Farina Winery is steeped in tradition and history. The winery's origins trace back to the early 20th century when the Farina family established their winemaking legacy in a beautiful 16th-century patriarchal home. This estate, accessed through a tuff arch adorned with an ancient coat of arms, reflects the deep-rooted passion for viticulture that has been passed down through generations. Today, the winery is run by cousins Alessandro and Pietro, alongside the dynamic third generation— Claudio, Elena, Nicola, and Davide — who continue to uphold the family’s commitment to excellence.
Over the years, the winery has grown both in size and reputation, combining the wisdom of traditional winemaking with innovative techniques. The estate’s vineyards, carefully nurtured and meticulously harvested, produce some of the most celebrated wines in the Valpolicella region, including Amarone and Ripasso. The family’s dedication to quality is evident in every step of the winemaking process, from the careful selection of native grape varieties to the scrupulous attention given to the drying phases essential for producing Amarone.
Visitors to Farina Winery are invited to immerse themselves in the rich culture of Valpolicella. The tasting rooms and reception areas, located within the historic home, provide a welcoming environment where guests can explore the flavors and aromas of the region’s finest wines.
