About Winery and Wines

Borgo Casa al Vento produces organic wines in the heart of Chianti Classico in Gaiole in Chianti. The annual production is around 30,000 bottles and we are proud to support the genuineness of our wine, "made by hand and with the heart".

Tutto il nostro raccolto viene fatto a mano e le uve vengono selezionate una per una. The great interest in natural agronomic methods, which are less invasive, has led to the decision to embark on the difficult path towards registration as a biological estate, which gives more value to the production of wine while safeguarding health and the environment by succeeding in becoming organic from 2012. All our harvest is done by hand and the grapes are selected one by one. The result is a great wine, full bodied but immediately ready to drink. Our philosophy is to create the true identity of Chianti Classico producing a product with 100% sangiovese.
