Cantina Fiammetta

Cantina Fiammetta was born from the deep connection between the land and family tradition, inspired by grandfather Benito and his vineyards, and grandfather Gelindo and his wine cellar. Imagine a little girl riding her bicycle through the hills and vineyards, passing through grandfather Benito’s vineyards, named “Benedictus”, and through the quiet village lanes. Along the way she stops to chat with the wise Gelindo, a great connoisseur of vineyards and, above all, a generous and welcoming host. Fiammetta daydreams constantly, accompanied by the gentle sound of a clarinet that fills the day with music and joy. These simple moments are what make Fiammetta’s life more colorful every day and inspired the spirit behind Cantina Fiammetta.

Today, Cantina Fiammetta is the first organic winery in the province of Rimini and carries a strong mission: to give life back to the earth by bringing “home-grown grapes” directly to the table through authentic, sustainable wines.

The farm now extends over 41 hectares of land, including 20 hectares of woodland, while the remaining area is dedicated to agriculture with vineyards, olive groves, and alfalfa fields. Benito’s nephews — Francesco, Jacopo, and Matteo — now run the farm with love and great passion, following the family tradition passed down by their father, Carlo Panzeri, Fiammetta’s husband. Carlo Panzeri is an agronomist with deep expertise in vineyard cultivation and grape growing, and the nine different organic wines produced at Cantina Fiammetta represent the result of this family’s dedication and hard work.

A beautiful landscape surrounds the estate and the Agriturismo Fiammetta, which stands in a panoramic position between the rolling hills of Valconca and the Adriatic Sea, near Rimini and Riccione. The farmhouse was once used as guest quarters for a monastery, before becoming a rural farmstead with a stable and oil mill. Today, the house, completely restored, has been divided into two charming and comfortable apartments that can host 6 and 8 guests. A small path leads from the garden to a swimming pool made of natural stone and nestled among the vineyards, surrounded by a green lawn with deck chairs and sunbeds. Here, guests can truly relax and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the unspoiled nature that the Romagna countryside still offers, while discovering the authentic wines and hospitality of Cantina Fiammetta.

Cantina Fiammetta produces nine wines: native Sangiovese, Trebbiano, and Rebola. A sparkling white, a Brut sparkling wine, and two international varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. All the wines are organic.
