Al meer dan 10 jaar worden we hier hartelijk ontvangen en mogen we de lekkerste wijnen proeven. En inderdaad de wijnen zijn top of the Bill maar zeer betaalbaar. Mijn favorieten...... Lastig zowel de Barbera d'Alba, Barbera de Cavallo, Barolo als Barbaresco zijn aan te bevelen. maar ook de witte wijnen.

Gigi Rosso Winery is located in Castiglione Falletto, the heart of the Barolo area. Founded with passion and tradition, the winery has been producing premium wines for over 40 years. The family oversees four distinct estates, each a carefully selected "cru" known for its ideal vine-growing conditions in the Langhe hills. Gigi Rosso is renowned for respecting local winemaking traditions while applying deep expertise in vineyard management and grape selection, ensuring consistent quality across their wines. Visitors can explore the beautiful landscapes and rich winemaking heritage.

Gigi Rosso's wines represent the richness of the Langhe region, with their estates focusing on different native varieties. Their Arione estate in Serralunga d'Alba produces Nebbiolo for Barolo and Barbera d'Alba, known for its finesse and aging potential. Moncolombetto, perched high in the Langhe, primarily grows Dolcetto, while the Rocca and Giovino estates in Altavilla d'Alba cultivate Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, and Freisa. Each wine reflects the unique terroir, producing reds with deep fruit character and structure.
