Dosio Vigneti is a winery steeped in history, nestled in the heart of the Langhe region, where winemaking traditions run deep. Established in 1974, the winery is built around an old farmhouse dating back to the 18th century, which was transformed into a winemaking estate thanks to the region’s natural affinity for vineyards. Situated at the highest point of the Barolo appellation, at 500 meters above sea level on the Serradenari hill in La Morra, a UNESCO World Heritage area, Dosio Vigneti offers breathtaking views over the plains of Cuneo and Turin, extending to the summit of Monviso. In 2010, the winery entered a new era under the stewardship of the Lanci family, who revitalized the estate while maintaining its deep connection to tradition and the land. The estate expanded its vineyards, now encompassing over 17 hectares across the Langhe, including prestigious Barolo crus such as Ravera, Bussia, Serradenari, and Fossati, as well as the Montersino cru in Barbaresco. In 2021, Dosio took another significant step by forming a group that spans 85 hectares of vineyards from the Langhe to Monferrato, underscoring its commitment to producing Piedmontese oenological excellence. Dosio’s production philosophy centers on quality and tradition, with a keen focus on sustainability. The estate follows integrated pest management practices across its vineyards, and low-impact winemaking techniques are employed in the cellar to enhance the natural qualities of the grapes. This commitment is further recognized by the SQNPI certification, awarded for sustainable production methods. Starting in 2023, Dosio Vigneti is also expanding its hospitality offerings with the opening of the Antica Dimora Dosio resort, providing guests with an immersive and relaxing experience amidst the beauty of the Langhe.

Provides 5 wine tastings and winery visit from €30.00
Bel Colle was born in 1978 from the will of the Pontiglione and Priola families, who at that time chose to invest in a peripheral territory, that of Verduno, yet rich in potential. It was a happy and far-sighted choice, which, thanks to the efforts of an enlightened oenologist, Paolo Torchio, led Bel Colle to become one of the most important wineries in Verduno, the first Italian producer of Verduno Pelaverga and one of the landmark symbols of the rebirth of this area. In the 1990s, the choice was made to invest in the native grape varieties of the Langhe, Nebbiolo for Barolo and Barbaresco, Barbera and Dolcetto. But Bel Colle was also far-sighted on whites, giving ample space to Arneis, Roero's princely variety, Favorita, and Nascetta, a rare indigenous variety of Novello. Under the leadership of Paolo Torchio, the winery's style was distinguished by its ability to produce clean, highly elegant wines with an austere femininity and finesse that made them instantly recognizable. Since 2015, Bel Colle has been owned by the Bosio family, which has relaunched the purchase and arrangement of the vineyards, focusing production on the highest quality expressions of the territory: Barolo, Barbaresco, Langhe Nebbiolo, Barbera d'Alba and Barbare d'Asti. At the same time, it relaunched quality work focused on native white wines, including Alta Langa, Piedmont's iconic Metodo Classico. Today the Bel Colle winery is run by Luca Bosio and Mario Albrito. Luca represents the new generation of the Bosio family, the courage to take new paths, and the desire to expand the vineyards in the most suitable areas, experimenting with the creation of new labels. Mario, on the other hand, is the historical memory of the winery. Born in 1963, he is a veteran of Langhe wine, with more than 40 years of harvesting behind him. A student of Paolo Torchio and a follower of his "native" oenology, he has been at Bel Colle since the early 2000s, a true expert on the terroir of Verduno and the surrounding hills. Their task is to put more than 40 years of winemaking excellence to good use through wide-ranging sustainable viticulture and winemaking that respects differences. An awareness that is combined with careful parceling of vineyards, from which to obtain single vineyards and labels that are increasingly representative of the inseparable bond that binds the Langhe to its wines.

A passion for wine and a lifetime of learning and observation are central to the story of Azienda Agricola Alessandro Rivetto. This journey began with grandfather Ercole, who introduced the vineyards and cellars, continuing the legacy of great-grandfather Giovanni. Through them, a deep connection to wine was forged, rooted in the land and enriched by the knowledge passed down through generations. Ercole, deeply tied to his origins, skillfully transformed his father’s intuition into new productive possibilities. More than anything, he imparted the joy of working with a smile and a love for what one does, a philosophy that continues to inspire today. In 2012, this spirit was shared with business partner Alessandro Bonelli, an enologist who now oversees the technical aspects of the winery’s production. The team was further strengthened by Mauro Adriano, whose extensive knowledge of the international market has been invaluable. Together, they continue a dream that began in childhood and has been nurtured through over twenty years of professional experience: to produce wines that tell a story of hard work, pleasure, and a passion for sharing. This dream is an ongoing exploration of what the vineyards offer year after year, coupled with the challenge of reaching new clients who discover and appreciate these wines around the world. Beyond cultivating vines, the aim is to cultivate a sense of wonder and to bring forth the genuine smiles that this work provides.

The village of Barolo is located in the heart of the Langhe, the most prestigious wine-making area in Italy's Piedmont region. The Borgogno family lives and works right here in Barolo, managing their own “Virna” estate. A descendant of one of the most famous Langhe families, Virna Borgogno is the first woman in Italy to complete a degree in oenology and oenological techniques. In 1988, she joined her father Lodovico in managing the cellar. The Borgogno vineyards date from 1720, while the modern estate was founded in 1950 by Enrico Borgogno. Nowadays, Virna and her sister Ivana have taken the reins of the estate wholly in hand, with Ivana looking after the administrative and marketing side of the business. In 2001, the estate was rebranded with the new “Virna” logo to reflect the major role played by women in the business. The estate comprises about 10 hectares in Barolo’s most prestigious areas; the Cannubi, Sarmassa and Preda vineyards are in Barolo proper, while the estate’s classic Barolo wine «Noi» comes instead from parcels in Novello, Monforte and La Morra townships.  Virna's wines adhere for the most part to the traditional Langa method, with élevage in large oak casks for the Barolo «Noi» and in both large casks and tonneaux for the two Cannubi and Sarmassa crus. In addition to Barolo, the estate produces two Barbera d’Alba wines; one of these, the San Giovanni cru, comes from the Monforte township. The estate also makes Langhe Nebbiolo DOC, a Langhe Bianco with Timorasso grape
