About Winery and Wines
The story of Marchi Winery begins in 1945 with Gino Marchi, a man of courage and deep-rooted passion, ‘de soca’. Today, three generations later, Gino’s legacy lives on through Franco Marchi and his sons Diego, Davide, and Luca, who carry forward a family tradition centered on authenticity, patience, and excellence. The soul of Marchi wines lies in a belief Gino always held dear: "It is the old vines that make the good wine."
Nestled in the Monti Lessini hills at 450–600 meters above sea level, our vineyards are a tribute to Time — the true secret behind our wines. Whether it’s the time spent tending the vines, the time aging in the cellar, or the time shared with people, we believe that great wine is, above all, DiVine Time—time devoted to the pleasure of living.
Our wines are born from a unique terroir in the hills of Monti Lessini, where altitude and climate grant elegance, freshness, and depth. We produce both sparkling and red wines, each shaped by the passage of time and crafted with dedication. Our sparkling range includes a refined Rosé Brut (90% Corvina, 10% Merlot) and the elegant Lessini Durello Riserva Pas Dosé, made using the Classic Method. On the red side, we honor the rich tradition of Valpolicella with labels such as Valpolicella DOC, Valpolicella Superiore DOC, Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC, and our iconic Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG. Every bottle is a patient expression of the land, the vine, and the people behind it.
