About Winery and Wines
Mas Vicenç is the name of a traditional Catalan farmhouse that has housed five generations dedicated to agriculture, mainly the vineyard. In 2005, the eldest son of the fifth generation, Vicenç Ferré, with studies and experience as a winemaker in Priorat and Côte du Rhone in France, began to make the first Mas Vicenç wines from the best family vineyards.
The family winery is located at the highest point of the DO Tarragona wine region and is currently represented by the four members of the family to produce and commercialize wines, olive oil, vinegar, and honey, as well as offering a wide range of wine tourism activities.
Celler Mas Vicenç spans nearly 38 hectares of vineyards, growing 14 different grape varieties, allowing for a wide range of wine styles, including white, rosé, red, sweet, and pét-nats. The estate's oldest vineyard, planted in 1912, produces a single estate wine fermented in amphora. Beyond vineyards, the property includes olive, almond, and hazelnut trees, which diversify production and highlight a deep connection to the landscape. These elements combine to create a varied range of Mas Vicenç products, rooted in family tradition and sustainability.
