Chateau Boutinet
About the Winery
Château Boutinet is the shared dream of Jérôme and Nathalie, two passionate souls united by their love for wine, land, and sustainable living. Nestled in the heart of Bordeaux’s Right Bank, the estate is a reflection of their life paths and values. Jérôme, a winemaker by vocation, grew up in Saint-Julien in the Médoc, while Nathalie, with a background in wine tourism and education, spent over 25 years guiding visitors through the vineyards of France. Their meeting in 2008 at the University of Wine sparked the beginning of their joint adventure.
Since acquiring Château Boutinet, the couple has turned the estate into a true haven of peace and authenticity, where wine, wellness, and biodiversity coexist. They cultivate 10 hectares of organic vineyards, raise Southdown sheep on 7 hectares of pasture, and preserve 10 hectares of woodland, integrating agriculture and biodiversity.
Certified organic, the estate is more than a vineyard—it’s a lifestyle project, home to activities such as yoga retreats, wine tastings, and wellness workshops, many of which take place in a welcoming yurt surrounded by nature. Château Boutinet is a place where passion meets purpose, and where wine tells the story of a life in harmony with the land.
