About Winery and Wines

Château Lauduc is one of the closest vineyards to Bordeaux on the right bank. The vineyard owes its development to the shared passion of Régis and Hervé Grandeau for quality wines.

The 60 hectares of Château Lauduc are located on the hillsides, predominantly clay-limestone and gravelly, the highest in the town of Tresses, ten kilometers from the center of Bordeaux. Facing due south, it is, as tradition dictates, planted with noble grape varieties; mainly 70% Merlot, which brings the softness, 20% Cabernet-Sauvignon for the full-bodied side, 8% Cabernet-Franc for finesse, supplemented by 1% Malbec and 1% Petit Verdot. Today, the 110-hectare vineyard, certified High Environmental Value, is spread over 8 municipalities in Entre Deux Mers.
