Reviews

About Winery and Wines
Château Lauduc is one of the closest vineyards to Bordeaux on the right bank, just 10 kilometers from the city center. For years, the Grandeau family, led by Régis and Hervé Grandeau, has nurtured this estate with a shared passion for crafting high-quality wines. Our 110-hectare vineyard, certified High Environmental Value, spreads across 8 municipalities in the Entre-Deux-Mers region. Positioned on the highest hillsides of Tresses, our vineyards are planted with noble grape varieties, predominantly Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc, all facing due south. At Château Lauduc, we remain dedicated to preserving our land while producing wines that honor the rich traditions of the Bordeaux region.
Château Lauduc wines reflect the unique character of our clay-limestone and gravelly soils, which are carefully cultivated to bring out the best in each grape variety. Our vineyard is dominated by 70% Merlot, lending softness and richness to our wines, followed by 20% Cabernet-Sauvignon, known for its full-bodied structure, and 8% Cabernet Franc, adding finesse. We also grow small quantities of Malbec and Petit Verdot to enhance the complexity of our blends. Every bottle of Château Lauduc wine is crafted with care, embodying the passion of the Grandeau family and the exceptional terroir of Bordeaux. From our rich reds to our elegant whites, our wines offer a true taste of the region’s winemaking excellence.
