CLAU DU SOL
About the Winery
Domaine Clau du Sol is a family vineyard located in the heart of the Cévennes foothills, taken over in 2018 with an immediate transition to organic farming.
In 2020, the estate built its own winery, producing its first vintages in 2021. All grapes are harvested by hand, and winemaking follows a gravity-flow approach without additives, allowing the pure expression of the Cévennes terroir.
The estate is certified both organic (AB) and natural (VMN), reflecting a strong commitment to sustainable and low-intervention practices.
Biodiversity plays a key role at Domaine Clau du Sol: a flock of sheep grazes in the vineyards during winter, while miniature pigs roam in spring. These animals naturally contribute to soil fertility, providing manure that nourishes the vines and reinforces the ecosystem.
