A Beautifully Balanced Experience of History, Nature, and Wine
We chose the Da Vinci route, which takes you on a scenic walk around the entire vineyard. There’s something truly special about this place — a unique blend of history, nature, and winemaking, with the added magic of standing where Leonardo da Vinci is said to have conceived the idea of the Mona Lisa.
To also be able to actually taste the grapes directly from the vine is amazing as well.
Be aware though, the trail is quite physical, with some steep climbs, so I’d only recommend it if you’re in good shape and comfortable walking uphill.
The experience ended perfectly with a wine tasting beautifully paired with local cured meats and cheeses. We sampled two red wines and one sparkling, each carefully matched to highlight the region’s character.
If you’re in the area — and up for the walk — this is an absolute must-do.

We were very interested in purchasing some wines during the tasting, but were asked to place any orders later by email. While I understand and appreciate that many visitors prefer not having a sales moment at the end — it keeps the experience peaceful and authentic — it would be great to also offer the option to taste and purchase on-site. We were ready to restock our wine cabinet and would have loved the opportunity to select a few bottles right after the tasting.

Great tour in a beautiful area. The owners were super friendly and their passion in wine making was clear. Also the wines were very good!

I have to say, a 360-degree visit of everything a winery can include. We visited the whole territory, doing a little trek accessible to everyone and admiring all the fantastic hidden corners of the property: the path through the vineyards, the bottling area... In short, the good Guido (a fantastic person), with his experience and dedication, really pampered us; besides knowing so much about wine, plants, and the territory, he also gave us a great history lesson! To then finish with a complete tasting, from the excellent white and red wine to a lot of various treats like honey of their own production, oil, cheeses, and cured meats!! A highly recommended experience in all respects!
