Beautiful people, wine, and view!

One of the top three vineyard tours/wine tastings we've ever done - and we've done a lot here in Europe! All four pinots were outstanding, particularly the 2015. Between us and our friends we went home with 9 bottles after a lovely time touring the vineyard, winery, and sitting by the pool sipping some great reds. HIGHLY recommended.

About Winery and Wines

Dalzocchio Winery spans two hectares of woodland and two dedicated to Pinot Noir vineyards. Founded in 1979 by Riccardo Dalzocchio, the winery is now led by his daughter Elisabetta. Located in Rovereto, Trentino, at an altitude of 400 meters, the estate enjoys a picturesque hilly setting surrounded by mountains, woods, oaks, and conifers. The constant breeze from Lake Garda creates a microclimate ideal for viticulture, particularly Pinot Noir.

In the organic vineyards, the interaction between land, plants, and people fosters a harmonious environment. Attention to every detail ensures healthy and perfectly ripe fruit. Harvesting is done by hand, with grapes placed in small containers to select only the finest. Careful vinification allows the grapes to transform into wines that capture the essence of the vineyard and the passion behind its creation.

Dalzocchio Winery focuses exclusively on producing the exceptional Pinot Noir Dalzocchio IGT Vigneti delle Dolomiti, a wine that embodies quality and tradition. Vinification occurs in open oak vats, with spontaneous fermentation honoring time-tested methods. The wine is aged for 18 months in 228-liter oak barrels, allowing it to develop its signature character.

Pinot Noir Dalzocchio is distinguished by its refined elegance. Its ruby red hue reveals intense, clear aromas of berries such as raspberries and blackberries, complemented by spices and subtle notes of incense. On the palate, it offers a soft, silky texture, balanced by vibrant acidity and delicate tannins. This harmony ensures both immediate enjoyment and a promising evolution over time.
