Montenero, on the north-east side of Mount Etna. Our estate is a testament to the history and dedication of the people who have worked this land since 1987, when the Dilettoso di Randazzo laid the first stone. The inscription engraved on the doorway of our old “palmento” (winemaking facility) at the entrance of the estate speaks to the deep-rooted tradition of winemaking that defines our work. For generations, the Destro family has cultivated this land with passion, committed to preserving the legacy of the area and producing wines that embody the richness of our unique terroir.

At the Destro estate, we focus on the cultivation of native grape varieties, particularly Nerello Mascalese and Carricante. Our aim is to capture the essence of our land through these grapes, producing wines that are a true reflection of the unique volcanic soils and climate of the north-eastern slopes of Mount Etna. With great attention to detail, we tend to our vineyards, ensuring that each harvest yields the highest quality grapes. Our wines are crafted with care and dedication, offering a taste that is both authentic and expressive of the natural characteristics of this extraordinary region.
