About Winery and Wines
Located in Saint-Christol, commune of Entre-Vignes, between the historic cities of Nîmes and Montpellier, Domaine Guinand thrives in a unique setting between the Mediterranean and the Cévennes. The estate produces a diverse range of AOP Languedoc wines, proudly carrying the "Terroir de Saint-Christol" designation.
Originally founded in 1139 by the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Domaine Guinand has deep historical roots. Today, the estate is led by Fabien and Sophie, a brother-and-sister duo who passionately continue the region’s winemaking traditions.
Spread across a distinctive terroir, Domaine Guinand benefits from soils composed of colluvium, pebble terraces, and sandy marl, creating wines with remarkable aromatic complexity and depth.
Domaine Guinand produces white, rosé, and red wines under the Languedoc Saint-Christol Protected Designation of Origin (AOP). Certified Terra Vitis since 2002, the estate is committed to sustainable agriculture, preserving both the land and the winemaking heritage.
Located in Saint-Christol, commune of Entre-Vignes, between Sommières, Lunel, and Castries, Domaine Guinand benefits from the sun-drenched climate of southern France and a distinctive terroir, resulting in wines with rich aromas and expressive flavors.
