Domaine La Sarabande is an organic, ecologic, and off-grid winery rooted in the heart of the Faugères AOP, one of the most intimate and expressive wine regions in the Languedoc. Born from a dream to craft exceptional wines while embracing a sustainable, nature-driven lifestyle, our journey began over a decade ago with the search for the perfect terroir in France. That journey led us to Faugères—a region with the oldest schist soils in the world, a true gem for lovers of expressive and mineral-rich wines.
We are a family-run estate, fully committed to cultivating our land with care and intention. Our winery operates off-grid, embracing natural methods and organic principles, allowing us to produce wines that reflect both the land and our values. Domaine La Sarabande is not just a place for winemaking—it is also a destination for wine lovers, where authentic wine tourism experiences unfold among the vines.
We produce a range of red, white, and rosé wines, all certified organic and naturally fermented. Every bottle is an expression of old vines, mineral-rich schist soils, and a genuine passion for crafting wines with soul.
Red Wines: Crafted from Grenache Noir, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Carignan Noir—some of our vines are over 100 years old. These reds are bold, structured, and full of depth, offering a perfect balance of ripe fruit, spice, and earthy minerality.
White Wines: Made from Marsanne and Roussanne, our whites are elegant and vibrant, with floral aromatics and a mineral backbone that reflects the unique schist terroir.
Rosé Wines: Fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor, our rosés are perfect for relaxed moments, capturing the sunny spirit of southern France with finesse.
