The Fossa Mala vineyard, densely planted and situated on low-lying land, is a model of modern viticulture rooted in tradition. With a planting density of 7,850 vines per hectare, the vineyard benefits from carefully selected rootstock, chosen for its compatibility with both native and international grape varieties. Through clonal and massal selection, these vines have been cultivated to produce high-quality grapes that reflect the unique terroir of the region. The vineyard's first 30 hectares, planted in the spring of 2003 in front of the villa, were later expanded by an additional seven hectares in 2008.
