domenica tra i vini
ho prenotato alle 13, senza sapere che in realtà a quell'ora la cantina non fa degustazioni. il proprietario è stato gentilissimo e ci ha accolte nel migliore dei modi, senza chiederci di cambiare l'ora.
siamo state bene e ci siamo rilassate con del buon vino e buon cibo di accompagnamento.
consiglio a tutti questa esperienza: ad un'ora da milano e immersa nei colli piacentini per passare una domenica diversa.
unico suggerimento che mi sento di dare è che in relazione ai numerosi bicchieri di vino, la proposta di cibo andrebbe aumentata un po' in quantità, solo per meglio bilanciare.

About Winery and Wines
La Torretta ,a historic winery of Piacenza, is located in the heart of the Tidone Valley. A valley in the western part of the province of Piacenza, bordering Oltrepo Pavese, an area with strong ties to wine making. Its hills are full of vineyards, small villages , castles and mills.
In 2015, the winery underwent a significant improvement by incorporating the neighboring winery of equal size, to create one of the biggest wineries in the Tidone Valley. The Marchesi Family, passionate promoter of this fusion, enriched the new La Torretta winery with an even greater number of varieties of quality vineyards with more international flavors. A welcoming environment remains one of the focal points of the winery which is open for guided tours as well as offering charming reception rooms to enjoy wine tasting paired with famous DOP Piacenza salami with spectacular views of the Tidone valley. The antique nucleus of buildings are the perfect setting for banquets and events.
At La torretta we follow the tradition of out terroir producing the tipical wines Gutturnio and Ortrugo. Gutturnio is a red wine, blend of Barbera and Bonarda, traditionally sparkling but today common in the still version as well. Otrugo is white sparkling wine name after the grape Ortrugo.
Besides these two wines we have a wide variety of internatiol grape for both red and white wine.
