Azienda Agricola la Tosa
(Winery in Piacenza)
A family, the passion for wine, a stubborn commitment to cultivate it in an area like the Piacenza Hills, with such great potential not yet fully valorized and acknowledged, founded on a strong desire and instinct to explore every last corner of vineyards and territory, and to present these to the public through the wines, hospitality and the museum.
This is how we started, and this is the spirit with which we are continuing, ever more enthusiastic about our work, happy with our obtained results, but never satisfied, with the constant desire for continuous improvement.
Eighteen hectares of vineyards surrounding the farm to produce eight wine varieties, with the gentle, serene hills embracing us and accompanying our work among the rows of grapes, watching over us with a friendly expression their own message, which is what we transfer into the wines we produce with pure joy and rigorous dedication.
Simplicity and depth are our guidelines for creating wine that needs no explanation to be appreciated, because it is a pure and immediate reflection, rich with varied hues and perspectives, of the special qualities of our landscape and all that lives in the ripe grapes.
Santa Giustina
(Winery in Piacenza)
Nestled on the picturesque hills above Pianello Val Tidone in the village of Santa Giustina, our farm is truly a "slice of paradise." The estate spans over 120 hectares, where 15 hectares are dedicated to our vineyards, and the rest to lavender fields, crops, and natural woodlands. Owned by the Bucciarelli family for nearly half a century, the estate was originally developed as a wildlife-hunting reserve by Antonio Bucciarelli in the 1970s. Today, it remains one of the few places in Italy where partridges breed naturally, a tribute to the estate's dedication to preserving its natural habitat, represented by the flight of partridges in our logo. In the 1990s, Antonio’s daughter, Gaia, embarked on a winemaking journey, and since 2003, Santa Giustina has grown into a renowned winery, producing around 100,000 bottles annually. Our cellar, built using gravity techniques, reflects our passion for combining tradition with innovation. Visitors are enchanted by our ivy-covered buildings, the refurbished barn, and the 1000AD consecrated church, making a trip to Santa Giustina a unique and unforgettable experience.
Cantina Valtidone Soc. Coop. R. L.
(Winery in Piacenza)
The journey started fifty years ago…
It was 1966. La Cantina was born in Borgonovo, at the centre of Val Tidone and the heart of the Colli Piacentini D.O.C. region. It is still there today.
A lot of ground has been covered since then and there is still some way to go. However, no-one intends calling it a day any time soon. The level of enthusiasm is unchanged.
It seems like only yesterday when sixteen agriculturalists decided to establish a co-operative they called ‘Cantina Valtidone’. They also coined a motto: ‘Classici attuali’ (current classics), one that has always been something to strive towards. The association has remained true to its origins, even though, over the years, it has grown into a true company from its homespun roots.
Luretta
(Winery in Piacenza)
Luretta Winery is an embodiment of exploration and innovation in the Colli Piacentini region, rooted in a deep respect for tradition. Located in the historic Momeliano Castle, which dates back to the year 1000, the winery operates in cellars that have remained intact for centuries. These medieval cellars provide an ideal environment for the aging of their most prized wines, with some maturing for up to eight years in oak barrels, filling the ancient fortress with the scent of wood and tradition.
The Salamini family, since 1988, has led Luretta with a clear vision—balancing ambition with the limits of the land, producing wines that spark curiosity and reflect the passion behind their creation. The winery uses organic farming techniques, ensuring that nature remains central to their winemaking process. By respecting the delicate balance of the environment and applying sustainable practices, they aim to create wines that not only tell the story of the land but also honor the biodiversity that surrounds them.
Luretta’s philosophy is to maintain a constant dialogue with nature, creating wines that leave a lasting impression from the first sip, reflecting the soul of the Piacenza hills and the rich history of the region.
Montesissa Azienda Vitivinicola
(Winery in Piacenza)
