Ghisolana

Winery in Prosecco, Colli Asolani

About the Winery

Ghisolana is a dedicated organic winery that has been producing earth-friendly wines for the past eight years. Located in a region rich in natural beauty and tradition, our vineyard thrives under the principles of organic farming, ensuring that our wines are free from pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilizers, and other synthetic chemicals. The decision to embrace organic practices was driven by our deep connection to the land and our commitment to preserving its purity. At Ghisolana, we believe that producing unique wines begins with a profound respect for the environment and every element that influences our vineyards.

Our winery stands out not only for the quality of our wines but also for the cutting-edge cultivation technologies we employ. These technologies, combined with traditional methods, allow us to create wines that are both genuine and of the highest quality. We meticulously oversee every step of the winemaking process, from the careful cultivation of our vines to the selective hand-picking of grapes. These grapes are then pressed at low temperatures in oxygen-free environments to preserve their natural characteristics. We use only local natural yeasts, allowing for a slow fermentation process that enhances the wine's complexity. Our scrupulous attention to detail ensures that our wines have no additives and contain only low levels of sulfites, offering a pure and authentic taste of our land.

About the Wines

At Ghisolana, our wines are a true reflection of the time, knowledge, and passion that go into their creation. We approach our vineyards with great care, carefully guiding each stage of growth to produce wines that are both distinctive and full of character. Our portfolio includes three different types of Prosecco and one Rosé sparkling wine, each crafted with the same dedication to quality and tradition.

Our Proseccos are created to capture the essence of the region, offering a range of flavors from crisp and refreshing to more complex and nuanced. The Rosé sparkling wine is a testament to our ability to innovate while staying true to our organic principles, delivering a vibrant and elegant option for those who appreciate fine sparkling wines. Every bottle from Ghisolana represents our commitment to excellence, sustainability, and the art of winemaking.

Wonderful experience
Very beautiful place, the girl who explained to us was very nice.
I would say that for the price we paid, what they gave us to accompany the wines was more than satisfactory.
Good wine.
With fair prices.

I recommend it
The young owner explained well the reality of this small, family-run winery, focused on organic practices and maintaining the required protocols. As agreed, we tasted three glasses of their production, well-described and accompanied by a platter of local cheeses. The location, which also provides agritourism services, is well-kept with a beautiful view of the vineyards. After the tasting, we were taken for a visit to the production and bottling areas, a very short tour given the size of the company.
At the end we purchased some wine, offered with a truly interesting quality/price ratio.
1) We would have gladly taken a little walk among the vine rows as well.
2) I feel I should point out one of the proseccos we tasted: it is very "natural," with no added sugar, a bit cloudy as it is unfiltered, and with a light perlage due only to the naturally produced gas without external additions. It is a wine that differs from the proseccos commonly on the market.

Amazing Prosecco Experience!
This tour is a must-do experience when in the Prosecco Hills! The winery is in a beautiful location with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The tour started with a short walk through the vines, where we saw the differences in the red grapes used for their Prosecco Rosés and the white, Glera grapes, used in classic Proseccos. The walk led to their facilities to see where the 1st and 2nd fermentation occurs, along with their bottling and labeling machines. Afterwards, we started the tasting. The table was outside and covered, so we could enjoy the spectacular view. We tried three of their Proseccos, and we were given delicious snacks, slices of pork on bread, homemade focaccia, slices of quiche, garlic pesto on bread, and cheese on bread. Everything tasted spectacular! We were super impressed by the portions of the food and the tastings. We loved it so much that we decided to stay for dinner. We had amazing homemade pasta and gnocchi, followed by the best tiramisu that I have ever had. We toured 6 different wineries while in the area, and this was our favorite experience, If you are thinking about where to go, then definitely come here. You will not be disappointed!
Service was amazing, and we loved each of their Proseccos. Our favorite was their Prosecco Rose, which we bought a bottle of to take home with us. If you like tiramisu, then it is a must try here! The frozen amoretto is fantastic as well!
