MENIN DOURO ESTATES is the passion project of a Brazilian, Rubens Menin, who combined his love for wine with the marvelous and unique demarcated region of the Douro. Our winery was born from this vision, with the goal of producing top-quality wines in our region.
Our greatest treasure is undoubtedly the 11 hectares of old vineyards, where 54 identified grape varieties thrive, a heritage we deeply cherish and value. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, our high-tech winery is dedicated to crafting wines with remarkable character.

MENIN DOURO ESTATES is a winery born from passion, blending tradition, innovation, and a deep respect for the Douro terroir. With over 60 hectares of vineyards bathed by the majestic Douro River in the prestigious Cima Corgo sub-region, our three exceptional estates—Quinta do Sol, Costa de Cima, and Caleiro—are the foundation of our winemaking philosophy.
Among these, 11 hectares of old vineyards stand as our most prized asset, home to 54 identified grape varieties that tell the story of the region’s viticultural heritage. These ancient vines, combined with cutting-edge technology in our state-of-the-art winery, allow us to craft wines of exceptional quality and character.
