Monte Tondo

Winery in Soave

About the Winery

The Montetondo Winery, led by the Magnabosco family, is deeply rooted in the Soave and Valpolicella regions of Italy. With over 32 hectares of vineyards on the slopes of Monte Tenda, Monte Foscarino, and Monte Tondo, the winery embodies a rich tradition of winemaking passed down through generations. Gino Magnabosco, an experienced winegrower, personally oversees every step of the process, ensuring that each wine reflects the unique terroir of these historic hills. The family's commitment to blending traditional methods with modern techniques has earned their wines recognition both in Italy and internationally.

About the Wines

Montetondo's wines are a true reflection of the Soave and Valpolicella terroirs, crafted with a balance of tradition and innovation. The winery produces a variety of wines, from the crisp and mineral-rich Soave to the robust and flavorful Valpolicella reds. The vineyards, spread across 32 hectares, benefit from the volcanic soil of the region, which imparts a distinctive character to the wines. Gino Magnabosco's meticulous attention to the vines and winemaking process results in a range of wines that are celebrated for their quality and expressiveness, resonating with wine lovers both locally and abroad. Each bottle from Montetondo carries the essence of the land and the legacy of the Magnabosco family.

Great experience
Nice little tour and delicious wines!
I would have appreciated a more detailed insight.
It's too short for that.

Excellent experience
I was at Monte Tondo on 20/05/24 for a tasting experience with my wife.
We both had a very good time, both for the quality of the products (two Soave wines, two Valpolicella wines and an oil of their own production) and for the explanation about the origins of the winery and its expansion. Highly recommended

Pleasant experience
My friend and I appreciated the hospitality.
The ambiance is truly pleasant and well-kept, furthermore I love the choice to favor the rustic over the modern.
The wines and the platter of cured meats and cheese were excellent, all strictly homemade.
Compliments to Mr. Gino!

An Unforgettable Food and Wine Experience at Monte Tondo
We participated in a wine experience at Monte Tondo and were very satisfied. The visit to the winery, with its barrels, silos, and the history of the wine, was very interesting. Afterwards, we bought some products in the shop and enjoyed a wine tasting accompanied by an excellent charcuterie board. A complete and pleasant experience, which we highly recommend!

Wineries to visit more frequently
A visit to a winery is the most direct way to get to know the excellences of our lands, like wine production.
We were in the Soave area for a tasting of local wines, locally produced cured meats and extra virgin olive oil.
Kind and thorough staff, a product of excellent quality, but not for this reason different from other wines of a similar level.
As said before, it is an experience to be had and shared often.
Compliments to the agencies that publicize and organize these activities.

Pleasant and interesting experience
We were welcomed very graciously, the location very beautiful and tidy. The girl who acted as our guide was very good and knowledgeable, the quality of the wines very high and the food good too. We were satisfied.
I would have liked a visit to the vineyard as well.
