Oxenfeld Wines
About the Winery
Oxenfeld is a small family winery located on the hills of Sant’Antonio, above Rovereto, in the heart of Trentino. The project was born from Valérie Bossi Fedrigotti’s desire to create wines deeply connected to the identity of the place, its history, and its landscape.
The name Oxenfeld, “Campobove” in Italian, comes from the family’s historical predicate, Bossi Fedrigotti von Ochsenfeld, and reflects a long tradition linked to wine and the Trentino territory. Surrounded by vineyards, cypress trees, and mountain light, the estate also includes a small Romanesque church dating back to the 13th century, which still gives Sant’Antonio its unique and timeless atmosphere.
At Oxenfeld, wine is produced with a personal and contemporary vision, combining elegance, authenticity, and respect for the land. The winery currently focuses on Pinot Blanc, interpreted through freshness, minerality, and drinkability, with future projects including traditional-method sparkling wines.
About the Wines
Oxenfeld currently focuses on Pinot Blanc, interpreted through freshness, elegance and the mineral character of the hills of Sant’Antonio. The vineyards are located at around 350 meters above sea level on dolomitic soils, exposed to bright mountain light and refreshed every day by the “Ora del Garda”, the gentle breeze coming from nearby Lake Garda.
Alongside Pinot Blanc, the estate also cultivates Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, varieties that are part of the winery’s future projects, including traditional method sparkling wines. Farming is carried out with great attention to sustainability and respect for the landscape, combining tradition, careful vineyard work and a contemporary vision of Trentino viticulture.
During the tasting experience, guests may also have the opportunity to discover a selection of historic red wines from the family winery Conti Bossi Fedrigotti, including Teroldego and the renowned Fojaneghe, considered the first Bordeaux-style blend produced in Italy.
This combination allows visitors to explore different expressions of Trentino wine culture, from fresh and vertical mountain whites to some of the region’s most historic red wines.
