About Winery and Wines

Our small family-run business came to life in 2017, making wine from Nebbiolo grapes from our own vineyards, located in the Faset sub-area. Our family moved here in the beginning of the 19th century, and they have been producing Barbaresco since 1920, then Piercarlo's father, Dante, continued the activity until 1985. Piercarlo, joined the company in 2000 and cultivated the vineyards for several years, acquiring more experience year after year. From 2017, Piercarlo decides to resume winemaking, and supported by his family he embarks on this path. The wine cellar is managed by Piercarlo and his daughter Martina. We personally take care of all the production phases, giving priority to the vineyard which is the most important part of the production and will determine the quality of the wine. Our goal is to have the least possible impact on the ground and on the territory, in order to respect the vine and satisfy its needs at the right time. We try to best express the characteristics of this area, rich in aromas and elegance in the glass. The wines we want to produce are sincere, fine and best represent this unrepeatable terroir. We try not to use any chemical product in the vineyard, but just copper and sulfur, that are natural products, to avoid the powdery mildow and downy mildow. Also in the wine cellar everything is done in the most natural way possible. We just let the wine stay and became ripe. We work on cleaness and take care of all the small details, that are foundamental. We want to peoduce technically perfect wines, without any defects or problems.

We produce around 20 000 bottles per year, mostly Barbaresco wine that’s our main wine. Since 2020 we also included some Langhe Nebbiolo, and some Barbera d’Alba Superiore. we are in the Faset cru, in the Barbaresco Municipality. We live here, the winery is here, and all our lands are here, so we know this area perfectly! We have 7 small parcels, all in this cru. But they are in 2 different parts of the cru, with 2 different micro-climates, that’s why we produce 2 different wines, both coming from the Faset Cru. This cru is characterized by an amazing elegance and finesse. We are in one of the most elegant parts of the Barbaresco area. Really full at the nose, intense and enveloping hints. In the mouth these wines are elegant too, not too much tannic and astringent, but we try to work on acidity and freshness, balanced tannins, really harmonic.
