Podere Bignolino

Podere Bignolino is a family-run farm located along the scenic SP 44 in Montalto Pavese, in the heart of the Oltrepò Pavese wine region. Founded in 1800, the estate has been passed down from generation to generation, and is now in the hands of Cirillo, who continues the family’s winemaking tradition with passion and respect for the land. Surrounded by rolling hills, vineyards, and nature, the estate welcomes visitors seeking genuine wine and food experiences rooted in history, tradition, and authenticity.

At Podere Bignolino, wine is made with care, tradition, and a deep connection to the territory. The estate specializes in Metodo Classico sparkling wines made from 100% Pinot Noir, vinified both in white and rosé with extended lees aging. Their Pinot Nero is also crafted as a red wine aged in oak barrels, while Pinot Rosé offers a fresh, elegant alternative. The range includes still Pinot Grigio, sparkling Riesling Italico, and still Riesling Renano. Red wine lovers can enjoy the lively Bonarda or more structured wines like Tre Colli (Barbera and Croatina blend), Costa Bercé (pure Barbera), and Nebbiolo, all aged for two years in large oak barrels. A sweet, sparkling Moscato completes the lineup—each bottle telling a story of tradition, land, and genuine character.
