As a pioneer in the natural wine movement, the farm has been part of the circuit for over a decade and was one of the founding members of FIVI, the Italian Federation of Independent Winemakers.
In 2008, a family-run agritourism facility was added, offering approximately 40 seats, and in 2023, the winery and agritourism underwent a complete renovation, including the addition of three overnight stay rooms.
At the heart of the farm is a family deeply dedicated to their craft. Tommaso, an oenologist with a passion for wine, has managed the vineyards and cellar since his university years and became the owner in 2017. Sara, also an oenologist, handles hospitality and communication and is becoming increasingly involved in cellar operations. Laura and Mario, both agronomists, took over the farm in 2001, bringing a wealth of experience in Pinot Noir production. Today, they support the new generation, with Mario working in the cellar and Laura in the kitchen. Giulia brings an international perspective, contributing to various aspects of the business.

La Travaglina was founded in 1967 by Grandpa Angelo on the family’s historic farmhouse, which dates back to the late 1600s. Since the 1990s, the winery has operated according to the principles of integrated agriculture, and as of 2021, it has been in conversion to organic farming.
