Quartomoro di Sardegna

Quartomoro di Sardegna is a young, artisanal winery born from the passion and experience of Piero Cella, an expert oenologist with deep roots in Sardinia’s wine world, and his wife Luciana Baso, a pedagogy graduate who fell in love with rural life. What began as a didactic project evolved into a family-run winery, now also guided by their children Alberto, who oversees the vineyards and business operations, and Violante, who manages administration and hospitality. In 2021, the estate moved to Is Bangius, at the foot of Mount Arci, a former volcano that enriches the soils with obsidian, giving their wines a distinctive character. At Quartomoro, minimal intervention in both vineyard and cellar respects nature’s rhythm. The winery is driven by a philosophy of sustainability, cultural preservation, and Sardinian identity.

The wines of Quartomoro di Sardegna reflect a deep commitment to tradition, terroir, and experimentation. Native Sardinian varieties such as Vermentino, Vernaccia, Semidano, Cannonau, Carignano, Monica, and Bovale are cultivated on volcanic soils to express their truest character. The Òrriu Collection blends innovation and heritage, reinterpreting ancient varietals with a modern touch. Memorie di Vite focuses on longevity, offering pure expressions of Sardinian grapes sourced from historical vineyards. Intrecci di Vite creates harmonious blends that evoke the essence of the Mediterranean. Finally, the Bollicine Project brings the elegance of traditional sparkling winemaking to Sardinia through Metodo Classico, a wine that has already earned regional and national acclaim. Each bottle is a tribute to Sardinia’s land, culture, and soul.
