About Winery and Wines
Farm situated on the Favaios plateau in the Douro area. Wine experiences include tastings, classes, cellar visits, wineries, and meals.
Remodeled and enlarged in a project led by architect Carlos Castanheira, the goal is not only to create fine wines but also to allow guests to explore the various areas and learn about their purposes, taking in an experience that stimulates all of the senses—taste, sight, and smell. Through a circuit that takes you from the huge area where the grapes are received to the contemporary and original spaces of the winemaking cellar and barrel cellar, our guided tours will help you understand the journey of the vineyard and the wine.
Of course, a visit would not be complete without sampling a few of our wines, served with olive oil and Douro olives, and gazing out on our veranda over the hills and valleys that lead down to the Douro—a breathtakingly beautiful landscape that will make your stay unforgettable.
We invite you to stop by and see our selection of wines from the Douro, Lacrau, and Secret Spot regions, as well as the wines we make in Trás-os-Montes, the Vinho Verde, Quinta do Cruzeiro, and Sousa Lopes.
Our winery produces a variety of wines from around the world, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, Merlot and Zinfandel. We also offer specialty wines such as Moscato, Malbec, and Syrah.
