Established in 1978 by Professor Spagnolli and now expertly managed by his son, Alvise, Disìo has become a symbol of Trentino’s winemaking excellence. The steep, rocky terrain, rich in calcareous clay, gives rise to grapes with distinctive, extreme features that reflect the authentic essence of the region. Alvise, who left behind a promising career as an energy engineer, returned to his roots to continue his family’s winemaking tradition, blending passion, knowledge, and respect for the land. Together, the Spagnolli family has crafted a vision for Disìo that harmonizes nature’s diversity with a pursuit of balance and verticality, offering visitors a glimpse into the heart and soul of Trentino’s rich winemaking heritage.
