Tenuta Rocca

Tenuta Rocca is located in the heart of the Langhe, in the prestigious Ornati area of Monforte d’Alba, where the estate extends over 15 hectares of vineyards. Since 1986, the winery has been guided by the Rocca family, first by brothers Bruno and Gianni, and today by Gianni and his son Andrea, an enotechnician who continues the family vision with passion and expertise.

The historic eighteenth-century farmhouse, carefully restored to its original beauty, stands alongside a modern winery equipped with underground aging rooms designed to ensure optimal wine maturation. This balance between tradition and innovation reflects the winery’s commitment to producing wines that fully express the identity of the Langhe territory. Supported by agronomist Gian Piero Romana and enologist Piero Ballario, Tenuta Rocca constantly pursues excellence while respecting the land. The estate has been organic certified since 2014 and obtained Equalitas certification in 2024, confirming its dedication to sustainability.

The wines of Tenuta Rocca represent the great classics of the Langhe area, produced with a strong focus on terroir, elegance, and authenticity. The portfolio includes white wines such as Chardonnay, Nascetta, Rosato, and Alta Langa, the traditional sparkling wine produced from vineyards in Roddino.

The red wine selection showcases the most iconic Piedmontese varieties, including Dolcetto d’Alba, Barbera d’Alba, Nebbiolo d’Alba, and prestigious expressions of Barolo such as Barolo Bussia and Barolo Serralunga.

Through organic farming and meticulous vineyard management, Tenuta Rocca crafts wines that combine structure, finesse, and aging potential, faithfully reflecting the character and richness of the Langhe hills.
