5 Incredible Experience (Caterina)Can’t even put into words how wonderful of a time we had. 5 Great hospitality (Veli-Matti)A short walk on the vineyard's with stories about the area and winery was a good start for the reason behind the visit. Wine tasting thru variety was well organized and in the end the possibility of vertical tasting of different Barolos was great end for the visit. If plan to visit, consider to reserve a table for a lunch or dinner from the restaurant. Unfortunately we missed that opportunity.

5 Warm Welcome & Great Experience (Raymond)Eleonora Dogliani rearranged her schedule to accommodate us since we ran late due to the weather. She was at the door to greet us and then show us their new wine tasting, wine storage and new residential facilities. She explained the history of the vineyard too. She took her time with us, answered our many questions and then gave us the opportunity to choose the wines, which we wished to taste. She explained each wine as we drank them. After the tasting, we purchased 10 bottles. Because of the slippery driveway due to construction, she insisted on carrying the wines to our car. That was most definitely above and beyond our expectation. We’d definitely come back for another visit.

5 Special tasting (Martina)I had the pleasure of tasting some of my favorite reds: Barbera d’Alba Superiore, Nebbiolo and Barolo, all accompanied by truly delicious appetizers, especially the cheeses. The experience was a real treat: a welcoming atmosphere, excellent wines and an engaging and passionate explanation from the girl who guided us through the tasting. Everything felt like home, of authenticity and of love for the land. An experience I will carry with me.

My husband and I were welcomed by the owner who explained with enthusiasm and passion the steps to obtain some of their excellent wines. Good value for money. There is also a platter that accompanies the tasting. If I really have to find a flaw… the glasses not being changed for each wine.

4 Pleasant experience in the Langhe (Brian)I booked this visit for myself and my family members from Milan. I should mention that I often go to the Langhe, I already know the most renowned wineries and I like to discover new ones, like in this case Podere Gagliassi, an estate on the border of the Barolo area that intrigued me. I wanted to immediately applaud the presence of electric charging stations at the destination: an excellent service for customers, which shows an eye for innovation and sustainability. The welcome was excellent: a young man educated and informed us about the wine production areas and the grape varieties, then the visit to the estate and the cellar. Our guide was professional and knowledgeable, even with some of my tricky questions. The winery is recently built, so it still has to make its history. Anyway, I feel I can say that the professionalism and friendliness of our guide added an extra touch to a winery that has a very good starting point. Final score: 8.

4 A female-run business (Marianna)At the gates of Barolo, with a short tour, we visited the cellar and the family-run winery, accompanied by Mrs. Virna who runs the business together with her sister. During the tasting we tasted several of their own wines (a Dolcetto, a Nebbiolo and three Barolos), always with Virna who told us about the territory and the vineyards, guiding us through characteristic flavors and aromas. A positive and unpretentious experience.

From the explanation of the area and the production to the excellent tasting accompanied by cured meats and breadsticks! All very pleasant! We just recommend arriving via the paved road and not the dirt one to avoid the risk of getting stuck :) Recommended!

5 Fortemasso Winery (Jacopo)The winery is very beautiful and newly renovated. The panorama is fantastic and there is an incredible view of the Grinzane Cavour castle. The staff was very good despite the in-depth questions from a particularly intense guest about the Barolo production process. Excellent wines and the price of the visit is fair considering the tasting of 5 wines (dolcetto, nebbiolo, Barbera, Barolo and Barolo riserva). A must-go

5 Excellent experience (Sergio)We went to the Dogliani Il Generale winery for a tasting. The place is simply wonderful, cared for in every little detail and with a spectacular view. Eleonora told us her family's story with great passion and enthusiasm, taking us inside the cellar. Afterwards we went to the tasting room, with a wonderful view of the vineyards. She told us with great professionalism about the characteristics of every single glass of wine, which we tasted accompanied by platters of excellent cured meats and cheeses.
