"Easy" Organic Wine Tasting with Food Pairing at Mezzo Ettaro in Valpolicella

Giorgio and Leonardo welcome you to Mezzo Ettaro for an intimate wine experience in Valpolicella, designed for a small number of participants. Your visit begins outdoors with a walk among the vines and olive trees, where your hosts will explain the organic cultivation practices they use on the estate's terraced garden overlooking the landscape.

The experience continues in one of the two dedicated tasting rooms with a view of the garden. Here, you will taste 5 wines selected from the winery's labels: Veronese Rosato IGT Frizzante “Impulsivo,” Veronese Rosato IGT “Contatto Fugace,” Valpolicella DOC “Veloce,” Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC “Attesa Lenta,” and Amarone Classico della Valpolicella DOCG “Corte Dolcetta.” The tasting is paired with traditional sopressa and artisanal bread.

Giorgio, the owner, and Leonardo, the Hospitality Manager, will share the story behind their production. The estate's grapes are grown on-site, vinified at a partner winery, and then brought back to Mezzo Ettaro to mature in a climate-controlled room that you can visit. During the tasting, photos and videos illustrate the vineyard and winemaking activities throughout the year. At the end of the experience, you will receive a small bag of dried aromatic lavender as a souvenir.
