"Essence" escape: One night at Agriturismo al Capitello in Asolo

Your wine holiday takes place at Agriturismo Al Capitello, the hospitality wing of the Ghisolana winery in the green hills of Asolo. Here, the Dall’Est family has been dedicated to viticulture since 1929. Today, they combine organic wine production with traditional hospitality in a quiet rural setting, north of Treviso and near the historic town of Asolo.

You will stay in a double room with a private bathroom, located right next to the winery. Your stay includes breakfast and access to the swimming pool, giving you plenty of time to relax outdoors and enjoy the landscape.

The experience includes a guided tasting led by the estate's hospitality manager. You will sample three organic wines from the Ghisolana range, served with local cicchetti in the tasting room.

The estate focuses on Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG, made from Glera grapes grown on the surrounding hills using organic methods. The three glasses will be selected from their production, which may include the Brut, with its fresh white-fruit character; the Extra Dry, a softer expression with notes of apple and pear; or the Sui Lieviti, a dry, bottle-refermented version with distinctive bread-crust notes. A Rosé Spumante Extra Dry is also part of their range.

The tasting is paired with cicchetti, offering an informal way to match the estate’s organic wines with local flavors. Outside of the planned activities, you can explore the area independently. The historic center of Asolo is within easy reach, and the countryside is ideal for scenic drives and walks towards Monte Grappa, making this a perfect base for discovering a quieter side of Veneto's wine country.
